Set A Cookie Consent

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) place requirements on website owners and operators to provide information about and gain consent for their use of cookies.

In case you wish to comply with the European Union’s ePrivacy Directive (often referred to as the cookie law) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulations this feature enables you to add a cookie-related disclosure to help you comply with EU privacy laws.

Configuring a site-wide cookie consent message shown to everyone visiting your store
  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. Click the Conj PowerPack menu.

  3. From the sidebar on the left, select the Cookie Bubble tab.

  4. Start filling in the content area by entering a notification message, which can be customized to your needs or liking.

  5. Optionally, start dragging the range slider to modify the amount of time that will be considered as visitor’s acceptance of your cookie policy.

  6. Optionally, customize the color scheme of the cookie bubble if you wish to alter its appearance further.

  7. Click the Save Changes button.

Whenever a visitor clicks on the cookie bubble’s button, the banner will be dismissed from the view. Once the banner accepted/hidden, a technical cookie named will be set, which prevents it from being displayed until the acceptance/consent expires.
